V-shaped ball valve is a type of ball valve, with a V-shaped opening on the hemispherical body as the closing element. The V-shaped opening has a sharp cutting edge, and during the rotation of the ball, there is a wiping effect between the closing elements, which has a strong cutting force on the medium. The V-shaped opening of the ball and the valve seat flow channel form a fan-shaped area. During the rotation process, the cross-sectional area of the flow channel can be changed to form precise adjustment of the medium. It is an angle rotating regulating valve with the same sealing performance as ordinary ball valves, which enables it to have both regulating and switching functions. It is widely used in industrial process control systems and is matched with pneumatic or electric actuators.
The structural characteristics of V-shaped ball valve:

4. Valve body: The valve body adopts an integral structure with good rigidity, reducing the possibility of external leakage
5. Spring: The spring adopts a special hexagonal spring, which provides pre tension while reducing the friction between the ball and the valve seat, reducing the operating torque of the valve
6. Valve Seat: Special valve cover free design ensures no dead corners between the valve seat and the valve body, making it difficult for the medium to accumulate and preventing solid particle media from getting stuck
The working principle of V-shaped ball valve:
V-shaped edge, cut off impurities. During the rotation of the sphere, the V-shaped blade of the sphere is tangent to the valve seat, thereby cutting off fibers and solid substances in the fluid. However, general ball valves do not have this function, which can easily cause fiber impurities to get stuck when closing, causing great inconvenience to maintenance and repair. In addition, due to the use of flange connection, it is easy to disassemble and assemble without the need for special tools, and maintenance is also simple and easy. When the valve is closed. The V-shaped notch and valve seat create a scissor like effect, which not only has self-cleaning function but also prevents the ball core from getting stuck. The valve body, valve cover, and valve seat are each made of metal point-to-point structure, and a valve stem spring with a low friction coefficient is used. Therefore, the operating torque is small and stable.
