The worm gear V-type ball valve is a special type of ball valve. Its closing member is a spherical segment body with a V-shaped opening. The V-shaped opening has a sharp shearing edge. During the rotation of the spherical segment body, a shearing action is formed between it and the valve seat, providing strong cutting force for the medium. The V-shaped opening of the spherical segment body and the valve seat flow path form a sector-shaped area. During rotation, the flow passage cross-section can be changed, enabling precise regulation of the medium. It is an angular rotary control valve, and its sealing performance is comparable to that of ordinary ball valves, giving it both regulating and on-off functions. When paired with a pneumatic or electric actuator, it is widely used in industrial process automation control systems.
