Common faults and troubleshooting methods of pneumatic butterfly valves:
1. Before installation, confirm whether the performance of our products and the flow direction arrow of the medium are consistent with the operating conditions, and clean the valve cavity. There should be no impurities or foreign objects on the sealing ring and butterfly plate. Do not close the butterfly plate before cleaning to avoid damaging the sealing ring.
2. It is recommended to use a flange specifically designed for disc valves, namely socket welded steel flanges, for the installation of disc plates.
3. The best position for installation in the pipeline is upright, but it cannot be inverted.
4. During use, it is necessary to adjust the flow rate, which is controlled by a worm gear box.
5. For pneumatic butterfly valves that open and close frequently, after about two months, open the worm gear box cover and check if the butter is normal, and maintain an appropriate amount of butter.
6. Check the tightness of each connecting part to ensure the sealing of the packing and the flexible rotation of the valve stem.
7. Pneumatic butterfly valves are not suitable for installation at the end of pipelines. If they must be installed at the end of pipelines, an outlet flange should be installed to prevent the sealing ring from accumulating and exceeding its position.
8. Regularly check the effectiveness of valve stem installation and use, and promptly troubleshoot any faults found.
