VQ647 pneumatic V-type control ball valve (referred to as control ball valve) is a rotary type control ball valve. It serves as the actuating unit in pneumatic unit combination instruments and is generally used in combination with an electro-pneumatic valve positioner or a pneumatic valve positioner. The pneumatic V-type control ball valve is available in two seat configurations: one with a reinforced PTFE soft seal seat, and the other with an all-metal hard seal seat made of 1Cr18Ni9 or 0Cr18Ni12Mo2(Ti) with partial Stellite alloy hardfacing. The pneumatic V-type control ball valve is applicable for normal temperature range (-40~200℃) and high temperature range (-60~450℃). It features high transmission efficiency, large thrust force, good sealing performance, high rated flow coefficient, and strong parts interchangeability. Due to the “shearing” action between the valve core and the valve seat during closing, it is particularly suitable for media containing fibrous materials, particulate matter, or extremely high viscosity. Product Features of Pneumatic V-Type Control Ball Valve
1.Integral valve body without any pipe connections. It is not affected by pipeline or bolt stress, and since the valve body has no pipe connections, the pressure-containing shell is not subject to sudden pressure changes.
2.Equipped with a V-shaped valve body, it ensures precise control across the entire range even under low flow or high viscosity conditions.
3.The leak-proof and durable valve seat is lined with a PTFE cup-type or O-ring seal with a stainless steel core at its outer diameter. The valve seat is made of tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide with a large cross-section, and its structure is further reinforced by an alloy corrugated spring.
4.When the valve is closed, a wedge-shaped shearing action occurs between the V-shaped notch and the valve seat, which provides self-cleaning function and prevents the ball core from jamming. It is particularly suitable for applications involving pipeline scaling, freezing, or media containing fibrous and particulate solids.
